  • I find it funny that when David finally had somebody knowledgable about the subject on his show, he essentially said what I have been saying all week. $4 Billion dollars have already been spent on the site, there is NO WAY the plan is changing now.

  • It isn't an issue of speaking out or not. All the speaking out in the world won't change the facts. The new WTC is already about 20% complete. The only way you will EVER see the Twin Towers again is on a different piece of land somewhere else in the city.

  • The problem is that this is not a government owned building or complex. It is a real working office complex owned privately.

  • I double checked with some New York urban planning buffs and confirmed that any plan to rebuild the towers at this point is pure fantasy. The site layout and progress already made on new foundations and the memorial would prohibit the Twins from ever being rebuilt.

  • I understand the sentiment that they should be rebuilt, and I honestly have believed the same ever since 9/11. I'm just afraid that too much has already been invested in the current scheme.
